What Divinity Alumni are Saying

Caleb | B.S. in Religious Studies: Biblical Languages

The John W. Rawlings School of Divinity presents a thoroughly robust and faithfully authentic Christian community of Christian leaders concerned with orthodox and practical theological formation for the next generation of church leaders. Their undergraduate program in Religious Studies offers a well-rounded, ideal academic and ministerial training ground for those preparing for vocational ministry and excellence in biblical teaching.

Deja | Global Studies

Being an undergrad Global Studies student allowed me to learn and grow in communication skills, biblical literacy, and cultural intelligence while being discipled by the professors. More than that, in the program, I was given opportunities to act on those skills through interactions with others and hands-on experience at the university and abroad. Each class helped me grow in my faith. Throughout my undergrad, I learned how doing these things well can help me look more like Jesus and share the gospel with people as commanded in the Bible.

Elizabeth | Christian Leadership and Church Ministries Award Winner

My degree has prepared me by allowing me to have a well-rounded ministry education including theological, leadership development, and practical ministry classes. This has prepared me to enter full-time ministry with knowledge learned both in the classroom and through experience at my practicum sites and internship. I have been encouraged to grow not only educationally but also personally in my relationship with Christ. My degree program has pushed me to develop holistically as a person and in ministry.

Cole | Global Studies

Global Studies taught me skills and lessons essential for longevity in cross-cultural environments. It formed me in academic level research and maturity as a man of God in the workplace. I still use what I learn to this day as I live and work internationally.

Elyse | B.A. in Theology and Apologetics

I loved my time in undergrad. The classes challenged me academically and spiritually and the faculty helped me grow and flourish in my degree and in my personal life. I fell in love with the biblical languages in my undergraduate degree and that is why I am now pursuing an MDiv in Biblical Languages.

Kimberly | Global Studies

Thanks to eye-opening courses in Global Studies (GLST), professors that encourage and equip their students for life’s challenges, and the tight-knit community that comes alongside being a GLST intern, my experience in Global Studies has been nothing short of spectacular. I’m so thankful for the way that Global Studies has equipped me not just for a specific career but for a way of life that seeks God’s will and God’s glory above all else.
